The basis of every Mody model
The following equipment forms the shared technical basis of the Tourer, Trekking and Outdoor models as well as the self-build versions.
Chassis, coupling and brakes
- Self-supporting chassis with 20 mm stainless steel axles
- Tektro brake system with 203 mm brake discs
- 35 mm stainless steel drawbar with Weber quick-release coupling
Floor and body
- 20 mm floor panel made from carbon sandwich material
- GRP body with a 3 mm foam core, vacuum laminated
- Exterior colours: black, white or grey
- Decorative stripes in black, silver or red
Doors, windows and safety
- Lockable door
- Opening window on the right-hand side
- Large front window
- Window on the left-hand side
- Front and rear lighting including reflectors
- Yellow reflectors on both sides
Wheels, ventilation and supports
- 26-inch heavy-duty rims by Sandmann with Schwalbe tyres
- Ventilation system
- Four support legs with large footplates
- Four lashing eyes
Coarse tyres for demanding terrain
The Mody Outdoor builds on the equipment of the Tourer and Trekking and adds particularly capable wheels and exterior equipment for off-road use.
